Autism Specialist Certification

Prepare for and take the Autism Certification Competency Exam with the 23 courses included in this program.

You can become a Certified Autism Specialist by meeting these eligibility requirements:

1. Have a master's degree (or a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience) in special education, education, educational psychology, psychology, human development, early childhood education, speech/language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work, or a closely related field.
2. Have two years of experience working in a field that treats or supports individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
3. Complete the 23 autism courses included in this package.
4. Pass the online Autism Certification Competency Exam provided by the International Board for Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES).

After successful completion of these requirements, you will receive:
An official certificate and certification number plus a digital badge for digital resumes and social media.
