Ignite PD Activity: Reflections to Launch a Rewarding New School Year

Each new school year offers the opportunity to begin anew—to plan a new path for teaching, learning, nurturing, and growing. The Reflections to Launch a Rewarding New School Year activity supports participants in reflecting on the year ahead and considering the path they want to create and follow. Journals created specifically for the activity serve to record participants' thoughts and intentions around five key questions and help them anticipate the journey ahead. As the year unfolds, participants can add to their thoughts in the journals. They can also return to the five questions as a stimulus for further reflection and commitment renewal during the year.
